The Stevens Amendment is an appropriations provision that requires grantees of the Department of Labor (DOL), Health and Human Services (HHS), and Education to disclose for a grant program the percent of the costs financed with federal funds.
The U.S. Department of Labor supports Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs as part of an award totaling $7,564,790.48, and the U.S. Department of Human Services supports Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) programs as part of an award totaling $5,611,324.44, or 95% in federal funds.
Discretionary grants total $698,401.60, or 5% in state, local, and/or non-governmental funds.
