Job Searching, Support and Upskilling Opportunities for Veterans
SCPa Works’ PA Careerlink Specialists offer many different programs and services for Veterans to help with supportive services, job searching and retraining. In addition, there are veteran representatives available to speak with you at the Bureau of Workforce Partnerships (BWPO) and can help you identify all of the services in which you may qualify.
The Bureau of Workforce Partnerships’ staff provides employment services to job seekers and employers through PA CareerLink® centers. Services to job seekers include, but are not limited to:
- Job search and job placement assistance
- Career counseling
- Needs and interest assessments
- Proficiency testing; workshops
- Development of an individual employment plan
- Case management
