Chief Operating Officer (COO)

SCPa Works is looking for a COO who thrives in an impactful, fast-paced and collaborative environment and who brings innovative problem-solving skills to our daily operations. We are looking for a leader with demonstrated expertise to advance SCPa Works’ capacity to impact our region’s economy. The COO role is critical to both our strategic functions and demonstrating our values of collaboration, stewardship and innovation.

The COO will be responsible for overseeing the Policy, Compliance/Program Evaluation, Operations and Human Resource functions of SCPa Works. The COO position will include being directly involved in strategic planning to successfully meet SCPa Works’ mission and ensure quality and efficiency of the operational and administrative support systems. The COO position is responsible for overseeing and guiding day-to-day operations and to support the needs of the Operations, Compliance, Program and Strategy Departments.

Data Entry/Quality Assurance

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our growing team. The Data Entry / Quality Assurance position is mainly responsible for entering data into CRM’s, researching company data, entering survey results from company meetings, auditing data, and running reports.  This is a temporary position and is made possible through an awarded workforce development grant with the opportunity to renew annually on July 1st.

The Data Entry / Quality Assurance position provides clerical support, data entry input, and analysis for our regional business services team and for activities related to business-facing workforce development initiatives.

JOB SUMMARY: This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned, self-motivated professional to join our growing team. SCPa Works is searching for an experienced leader to direct and coordinate various functions and operations of a PA CareerLink® workforce development center. The right candidate should demonstrate superior skills in leadership, local planning, workforce connections, jobseeker service delivery, business services, resources management, and facility management. This position is functionally supervised by and organizationally responsible to the PA CareerLink® One-Stop Operator.

Program Officer

JOB SUMMARY:  Manage and provide staff support for SCPA Works Youth Council projects and programs.  Acquire and maintain a detailed working knowledge of program guidelines in order to ensure that operations meet mandated requirements; provide policy updates and training to contractor staff.  Work closely with Fiscal staff to review program spending. Develop new training opportunities, partnerships, and provide leadership to vendors and the community.
