Job Summary:

The Program Officer will be responsible for providing administrative and programmatic support to all programs (WIOA Adult/DW/Youth, TANF Youth, EARN, Reentry, and other discretionary grants). This position is critical to the day to day operations of programs, compliance, policy, and business services departments. A detailed working knowledge of internal program policies, as well as state and federal policies is vital. Must be a self-starter who is able to communicate across audiences and adapt information for various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor contractor performance, activities, spending, etc.
  • Review reports and data from subcontractors, run appropriate internal reports
  • Monitor all WIOA and TANF guidelines
  • Prepares reports on usage of Career Readiness Activities
  • Coordinate special projects
  • Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, maintain minutes, and respond to external questions
  • Monitor program software
  • Other duties as assigned

Specifications/ Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a relevant field or a minimum of 3 plus years of experience or training.
