Job Title – Data Entry / Quality Assurance Position

FLSA Status: Full Time / Hourly
Team: Strategic Initiatives
Reports to: Director of Business Partnerships

Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our growing team. The Data Entry / Quality Assurance position is mainly responsible for entering data into CRM’s, researching company data, entering survey results from company meetings, auditing data, and running reports.   This is a temporary position and is made possible through an awarded workforce development grant with the opportunity to renew annually on July 1st.

Job Description:

The Data Entry / Quality Assurance position provides clerical support, data entry input and analysis for our regional business services team and for activities related to business-facing workforce development initiatives.

Responsibilities and duties:

The following is a summary of the primary responsibilities of the Data Entry / Quality Assurance position. Additional duties may be assigned through project work, auditing, or additional oversight of programs.

  • Data entry of company information
  • Transferring market-research results
  • Inputting data (printed, coded or statistical)
  • Accuracy of information / Proofreading data
  • Updating customer records
  • Dealing with staff inquiries
  • Filing, photocopying and other clerical or administrative duties
  • Working to meet deadlines
  • Preparing reports, letters and labels for mail outs
  • Operating office equipment including computers, printers and photocopiers
  • Adhering to confidentiality regulations

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Proficient Computer Skills
  • Focused / Works efficiently
  • Ability to enter 50 – 70 words per minute
  • Organization
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team
  • Polite and courteous
  • Deadline oriented
  • Sound judgment, discretion, tact, and the ability to work efficiently with others
  • Must be able to travel to and from SCPa Works office as well as off-site meetings

Required education and experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Proficient in the English language.
  • Data entry or administrative assistant experience is not needed but can be a bonus.
