Grants from PA Department of Labor & Industry support teachers and industry working together

SCPa Works was recently awarded eight “Teacher in the Workplace” grants in partnership with five regional organizations to support educators in learning directly from industry leaders. These grants, with support from the PA Departments of Education and Labor & Industry, help invest in our region’s students and emerging workforce by supporting the important alignment between education and industry.

  • SCPa Works and IU-13 | Lebanon Educator-Workplace Partnership: $50,000
  • SCPa Works and Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce| Educator in the Workplace Grant: $50,000
  • SCPa Works and West Shore School District | Teacher in the Workplace STEM Academy: $35,071
  • SCPa Works and IU12 | FrAY STEM Ecosystem Educator in the Workplace: $30,897
  • SCPa Works and Capital Region Partnership for Career Development
    • Leadership Academy Honors Track – Skilled Trades/Apprenticeship Focus: $50,000
    • Leadership Academy Honors Track – Accounting/Business: $50,000
    • Leadership Academy Honors Track – Healthcare: $50,000
    • Leadership Academy Honors Track – Manufacturing: $50,000
